Your Private Kitchen, Your Italian Chef

Our cooking classes in Italy are private and hands-on: chef Lucia d’Aloisio Mayo and her team come to your apartment or villa, bring fresh ingredients from Italian producers and teach you to cook the dishes you came to Italy for. Then you sit down together and eat everything you made.

In Rome we teach classic Roman cooking, fresh pasta and pizza. Staying elsewhere? We bring the same class to your villa in Tuscany, on the Amalfi Coast or wherever you are in Italy. Every class is taught in English, for couples, families and groups of friends.

FAQ

Cooking Classes in Italy: Your Questions

Are your cooking classes private?

Yes. Every class is private and designed only for your group, whether you are two people or a large family.

Where do the classes take place?

In your own kitchen: your apartment or holiday rental in Rome, or your villa in Tuscany, on the Amalfi Coast or elsewhere in Italy.

Are the classes taught in English?

Yes. All our cooking classes are taught in English, with recipes you can take home.

Can children join a cooking class?

Of course. Family classes are some of our favourites, and we adapt each step so children can shape pasta and top their own pizza.

What will we cook?

It is up to you: fresh pasta, pizza, tiramisù, classic Roman dishes or the specialities of the region you are visiting.

Can you adapt the class to dietary requirements?

Yes. We run gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan classes: let us know your needs when you enquire.
